Head of PMO (Senior Level) Permanent | Hammersmith, London | Transformation Start Date: ASAP (target within 4–6 weeks) Renumeration: £120,000 + Bonus JB2704 Role Overview The Head of PMO plays a critical role in driving enterprise-wide transformation for a high-growth, private, entrepreneurial business operating in the energy and infrastructure ecosystem. Reporting directly to the Divisional CEO, the role is designed to bring structure, prioritisation, and pace to complex initiatives while deliberately avoiding unnecessary bureaucracy. The position enables the executive team to deliver ambitious growth objectives, including scaling the business significantly through organic expansion and acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate end-to-end transformation initiatives across the organisation Provide governance, structure, prioritisation, and execution rhythm without slowing pace Support business unit reorganisation and execution of 3-year strategic plans Drive operational efficiency initiatives across front office and shared services functions Oversee digital and systems transformations, including AI-driven process improvements Manage cultural and change initiatives during periods of rapid growth and scale-up Act as a trusted partner to the executive team to resolve blockers and ensure delivery Candidate Profile Must-Have Experience Proven PMO leadership and delivery experience across multiple complex initiatives Strong transformation and change management background Entrepreneurial mindset with high energy, pace, and resilience Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills Hands-on, adaptable operator comfortable across strategy, operations, systems, and change Clear track record of repeatedly delivering outcomes in demanding environments Nice to Have Experience in private equity-backed, turnaround, or high-growth environments Exposure to energy markets, trading, or complex front-office operations Background in top-tier strategy consulting, Big Four operational transformation, or MBA Experience supporting organisations through rapid scaling
