Head of Quality Control

We are hiring for a seasoned Quality Control professional for a leading pharmaceutical company to head the QC function at its regulated manufacturing facility. This is a strategic leadership role for professionals with strong exposure to EU, WHO & LATAM regulatory markets, audit readiness, laboratory excellence, and large team management within formulation manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end Quality Control operations for the formulation manufacturing site

Oversee physical, chemical & microbiological testing activities

Ensure timely testing of raw materials, in-process, finished products & stability samples

Drive compliance with EU GMP, WHO-GMP, cGLP & Data Integrity standards

Lead regulatory inspections, customer audits & compliance management

Handle analytical method validation, method transfer & troubleshooting

Drive OOS/OOT investigations, CAPA implementation & root cause analysis

Monitor laboratory efficiency, analytical systems & documentation practices

Manage ICH stability programs and QC operational KPIs

Collaborate with QA, Production, RA, R&D & Supply Chain for seamless quality operations

Lead, mentor & develop high-performing QC teams

Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives

Ideal Candidate:

✔ M.Sc / M.Pharm with 14–18 years of experience in formulation Quality Control

✔ Strong expertise in HPLC, GC, Dissolution, Microbiology & analytical techniques

✔ Proven track record of handling EU, WHO & LATAM regulatory audits

✔ Strong leadership experience managing large QC teams in regulated plants
