Job Description
Location: All locations in the United States
Work Arrangement: Remote, Hybrid, or In-office
Responsibilities
- Provide consulting services related to healthcare financial, operational and industry issues including project management and delivery
- Perform the majority of consulting work offsite from client
- Research new and existing regulations and laws and apply that knowledge to client issues and solutions
- Participate in client engagement meetings to determine timelines, objectives and expectations, issues, and findings and recommendations across a variety of client situations
- Review client data, analysis, and reports prior to Partner involvement to ensure quality and consistency
- Conduct analyses to identify opportunities to improve client processes and operational performance
- Represent the Firm at healthcare association meetings and conferences as a presenter and marketer as needed
- Author articles and thought leadership content related to healthcare issues impacting providers
- Provide internal educational sessions to staff to increase awareness of healthcare issues and awareness of service offerings
- Market services personally and cross sell services offered by other practice areas within the Firm
- Evaluate the costs, benefits and risks of alternative solutions to address client problems or needs
- Provide constructive feedback to support the growth and development of the Health Care Consulting practice
- Leverage personal and professional experiences to support business development and expansion of practice offerings
- Participate in community organizations and industry related functions to support Firm visibility and engagement
Qualifications
- Passionate about helping others and keeping up to date with ever-changing health care regulations
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Health Care Administration or related field
- 3-7 years of healthcare industry - financial or operational experience with increasing levels of responsibility and leadership
- Advanced knowledge of terminology, policies and practices, financial programs and processes of health care systems
- Well‑rounded knowledge of laws and regulations related to the healthcare industry
- Skills in networking and developing business
- Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to effectively interact with all levels of Firm management and staff, clients and other external business contacts
- Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities with work projects
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and clients
- Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and using various software packages
Compensation
$100,000-$145,000
