Hematology/Oncology Physician

This locum Hematology/Oncology physician role is based in a community outpatient clinic, providing care for patients with cancer and blood disorders. The provider will manage an established patient panel, focusing on continuity of care in a supportive, low-procedure environment. The position offers a flexible weekday schedule with consistent monthly shifts.

Dates / Schedule

• Shifts: shifts per month
• Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Days: Any 3 weekdays (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday preferred; flexible based on provider availability)
• Credentialing Timeframe: 3 months

Job Details / Responsibilities

• Setting: Community outpatient hematology/oncology clinic (connected to hospital)
• Patient Population: Adult hematology and oncology patients
• Patient Volume: patients per day
• EMR: EPIC, Beacon
• Support Staff: RN and Medical Assistant
• Reason for Coverage: Backfill for current locum

Core Responsibilities:

• Manage existing hematology and oncology patients
• Provide ongoing treatment oversight and follow-up care
• Coordinate care within the outpatient setting
• No procedures required

• Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology (required)
• Washington state license or IMLC (highly preferred)
• BLS certification (required)
• Clean malpractice history (highly preferred)
• NPDB Self-Query report (dated within 30 days) (required)
