Job Description
Trilogy School is a small, non-profit, private school that has served families in Gainesville and its surrounding communities for 30 years. We offer K-12 education with very small class sizes. Our upper school classrooms are multi-age; 6th/7th, 7th/8th, 9th/10th, and 11th/12th with class sizes between 12-16 students.

Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Teaching Duties: Your primary role as a math teacher in our high school program will consist of designing and implementing four math classes which combine direct instruction, small group collaborative work, project based learning, and independent study with support to foster deep learning. Teachers are also coach/mentor to 6 students, as well as, as design and teach special-interest elective experiences classes. Each day begins at 8:00 am and ends at 5pm. Though all curriculum and materials can be provided, we encourage your creative contributions to our existing framework and are excited to collaborate with you and your ideas. We do not use traditional report cards, but you will assess and evaluate regularly using a one of a kind growth framework that focuses on knowledge, skills, mindset, and creativity. You will carefully monitor students’ academic progress with a goal of achieving college/career readiness by graduation.
- Planning: Each teacher has one planning period per day, as well as a lunch break.
- Regular Attendance Requirements: Beyond classroom duties, we ask our teachers to attend school meetings, professional development days, graduation, and other community traditions and events.

A bachelor's degree is required and active teaching certificate is favorable but not required.

- Confident in creating detailed lesson plans, daily schedules, and yearly goals.
While not required, extra points” will be given to technologically savvy applicants whose experience include Google Workspace, Pear Deck, Adobe, Canva, or another creative suite, office suite software, Calendly, Typeform, etc.
