About the Role
We are seeking an HRIS Intern to support the day-to-day operations, reporting, and ongoing enhancement of our HR systems. This internship is ideal for students who are keen to explore HR technology, data analysis, and systems support. You will gain hands-on experience working with HR systems while collaborating with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, system efficiency, and smooth HR processes.
Responsibilities:
Support the maintenance and administration of HR systems (e.g. Workday, Ramco, or similar HR platforms)Assist in creating, updating, and validating standard and ad hoc HR data reportsPerform data checks, cleansing, and basic analysis to ensure data accuracy and integritySupport system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution, including user acceptance testing (UAT)Assist with system enhancements, automation initiatives, and process improvementsProvide basic user support and guidance to HR users on system-related mattersSupport HR projects, audits, and reporting requirements (as needed)Maintain documentation such as process guides, user instructions, and data definitionsProvide ad hoc support for HR-related matters and events, including tasks that may extend beyond IT-related work
Qualifications
Undergraduates in IT, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline are welcome to apply
Required Skills
Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL, XML, Python and Microsoft Power Platform (e.g. Power Automate, Power Query); hands-on project or internship experience is an advantagePossess a positive and proactive attitudeStrong attention to detail and an interest in working with data and systemsWillingness to learn new tools, systems, and HR processesGood interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with different stakeholdersAble to work independently while collaborating effectively in a teamGood time management and organisational skillsAble to start immediately
