Job Description
Role PurposeThe Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) will act as a strategic partner to business leaders, driving HR initiatives aligned with organizational goals. The role will focus on strengthening people practices across for large, geographically spread sales teams ensuring high performance, engagement, and scalability of operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Business PartneringCollaborate with business leaders to align HR strategy with business objectivesDrive workforce planning, organization design, and capability buildingAct as a trusted advisor to leadership on people-related decisionsSupport transformation initiatives across business units
- Talent Acquisition & Workforce PlanningSupport in bulk Sales and frontline workforce in collaboration with Sales State HeadsPartner with hiring managers to ensure timely and quality hiringBuild talent pipelines for critical and high-growth roles
- Sales HRBP (Pan India)Act as HRBP for large, geographically spread sales teamsTravel 5-10 days/month to engage with regional teamsDrive productivity, performance management, and retention strategiesUnderstand ground-level challenges and recommend HR interventions
- Employee Relations & EngagementBuild strong employee connect across sales teamsHandle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolutionDrive engagement initiatives to improve morale and retentionEnsure compliance with labour laws and company policies
- Performance Management & Compensation (In collaboration with CoE - Talent Management / CoE - HR Operations Teams)Drive performance management systems (goal setting, reviews, appraisals)Partner with leadership on compensation benchmarking and revisionsEnsure pay-for-performance culture across levelsSupport incentive design for sales teams
- Learning & Development (In collaboration with Talent Management Team)Identify capability gaps and design L&D interventions Drive leadership development programs and succession planningBuild training frameworks for manufacturing and sales workforce
- HR Operations & GovernanceEnsure smooth HR operations across locationsDrive policy implementation, process standardization, and HR analyticsMonitor HR metrics (attrition, hiring TAT, productivity, etc.)Ensure compliance with statutory and internal governance frameworks
Key Requirements
Experience & Background15+ years of experience in Manufacturing / Retail / FMCG industriesStrong generalist HR exposure across all HR functionsProven experience in bulk hiring and scaling teamsHands-on experience as HRBP for large sales organizations
EducationPostgraduate in MSW (HRM) / MBA (HRM) / MA (HRM) From reputed Tier 1 / Tier 2 institutes
Skills & CompetenciesStrong stakeholder management and influencing skillsHigh business acumen and data-driven decision-makingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilityAbility to work in dynamic, high-growth environments
