This is a highly visible leadership role where you’ll partner directly with the CEO and senior team to build a strong, scalable organization. You’ll have the opportunity to influence culture, strengthen operations, and ensure we have the talent and structure needed to grow with purpose. WHAT YOU’LL DO As our HR Director, you’ll serve as a strategic partner and hands‑on leader across all aspects of human capital: Partner with the CEO and leadership team to align HR strategy with business growth and operational goals Build and scale a high-performing, accountable, and safety-focused culture Lead workforce planning across manufacturing, operations, and corporate teams Strengthen recruiting to attract top talent in both hourly and salaried roles Develop leadership pipelines and succession plans for key roles Drive performance management practices that reinforce accountability and results Support employee relations, ensuring issues are handled thoughtfully and effectively Ensure compliance with employment laws and proactively reduce organizational risk Oversee compensation, benefits, and HR operations, including HRIS and reporting Lead and develop a strong, service-oriented HR team WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE (First 12 Months) Established as a trusted advisor to the CEO and leadership team Built a scalable HR foundation that supports company growth Improved hiring effectiveness and reduced time-to-fill for key roles Strengthened performance management and accountability across the organization Enhanced employee engagement and retention, especially in manufacturing roles Ensured compliance and reduced organizational risk Developed a capable, high-performing HR team ready to support ongoing growth WHAT YOU BRING 8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, ideally in manufacturing or a product-based environment Experience in a high-growth or private equity-backed company is strongly preferred Proven ability to build or scale HR functions in evolving organizations Strong business acumen with the ability to connect people strategy to operational results Confidence working alongside senior leadership as a trusted partner Hands‑on approach with the ability to shift between strategy and execution Strong employee relations and communication skills Data‑driven mindset with experience using HR metrics to guide decisions Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience); SPHR or SHRM‑SCP preferred Spanish language skills are a plus WHY THIS ROLE This is more than a traditional HR leadership position.
