Job Description
We’re looking for a People & Culture Specialist to join our growing team and play a key role in supporting the execution of our HR roadmap. Working closely with the Head of HR, this role will provide hands-on support across a wide range of people initiatives that help build a high-performing, engaged, and scalable organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1-2 years of experience in HR, who is eager to gain exposure across multiple HR disciplines, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys rolling up their sleeves to learn and contribute.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, people-oriented, agile and adaptable, with a strong interest in developing as a well-rounded HR professional. You will partner with leaders and employees across the business to support core HR processes, enhance the employee experience, and ensure alignment with company policies and practices. Responsibilities Support the Head of HR in executing key initiatives aligned with the company’s HR and people strategy Assist with the delivery of core HR programs across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, development, and offboarding Provide coordination and support for recruitment activities as needed, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, and onboarding preparation Lead new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure a positive and seamless employee experience Maintain accurate employee records and support HR administration, including HRIS updates and reporting Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance and escalating more complex matters when appropriate Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant employment legislation Support performance enablement processes, including goal tracking and review cycles Contribute to employee engagement initiatives, internal communications, and culture-building efforts Assist in developing, documenting, and improving HR policies, processes, and tools as the organization scales Support learning and development initiatives, including training coordination and tracking Partner with cross-functional leaders to understand their people needs and provide day-to-day HR support Contribute to HR projects and ad hoc initiatives aligned with the broader HR roadmap What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area Current or planned pursuance of CHRP or equivalent HR certification Early-career HR professional with a strong interest in building broad HR expertise Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-service mindset Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and grow within the HR function Compensation & Perks $65,000 - $75,000 Annual Bonus Health & Dental Benefits Health & Wellness Spending Accounts Perkopolis Staff Discounts On-Site Gym + Planet Fitness Membership Concession Coffee Bar with Barista + Unlimited Snacks Monthly Events, Friday Lunches & Daily Breakfast Professional Growth & Development Opportunities
