We celebrate our associates.This position serves as a working supervisor responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial facilities. The Lead performs the same hands-on technical work as team members for most of the workday while providing day-to-day direction, coordinating workflow, and supporting safe and efficient operations.
This role requires strong HVAC technical expertise, problem-solving ability, leadership skills, and a commitment to high-quality service and customer satisfaction.TECHNICAL WORK – 75%Installs, maintains, and repairs HVAC systems (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) for commercial facilities.Inspects HVAC systems to identify issues such as leaks, clogs, and faulty components.Troubleshoots HVAC system problems, including diagnosing issues with electrical connections, thermostats, motors, and refrigerant levels.Performs routine maintenance such as cleaning, replacing filters, and checking system performance to ensure efficiency.Installs ductwork, refrigerant lines, thermostats, and related equipment according to safety regulations and manufacturer specifications.Maintains accurate service records, documenting all work completed, including repairs, installations, and parts used.Provides estimates for repair costs, system upgrades, or new installations to customers.Explains maintenance procedures, system operations, and repair needs to customers in clear, understandable terms.Ensures compliance with safety standards and regulations, including local and federal codes, as well as manufacturer guidelines.Collaborates with team members and supervisors to complete complex installations and repairs in a timely manner.LEADERSHIP – 25%Leads a team of HVAC technicians, ensuring they perform their duties according to company standards and safety regulations.Monitors team performance to ensure work is completed efficiently and within budget.
