Locums - Dayton, Ohio, Infectious Disease Physician Job

Clinical Role:

• Locum tenens opportunity
• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible Infectious Disease physician
• ASAP start - ongoing need
• Coverage needed for at least one week per month (ability to work more if desired)
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Some weekday night call required
• Weekend call: 24-hour call with rounding responsibilities
• Must have an active Ohio medical license
• Responsibilities include:
  • New inpatient consults
  • Follow-up care on existing inpatients
  • Addressing calls related to ED patients, admitted patients, and established clinic patients
• RN triage service handles first-line patient calls for established patients
• EMR: Epic
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
