Atlantic Aqua Farms is a successful and growing mussel and oyster aquaculture business. Committed to customer service and quality products for 35 years, Atlantic Aqua Farms is North America’s number one grower and processor of the widely recognized, high quality Prince Edward Island mussels, under the brand name Canadian Cove. The company also farms some of the finest quality oysters from Prince Edward Island, Maine, and Virginia.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a customer focused Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a critical role in building strong customer relationships, delivering outstanding service, and driving revenue growth. As the first point of contact for many of our customers, you will ensure every interaction reflects Atlantic Aqua Farms’ dedication to responsiveness, partnership, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted partner to a designated customer base, maintaining loyalty through outstanding service and proactive communication
- Process and manage customer orders with precision, following up on logistics and ensuring a seamless customer experience
- Coordinate with 3rd party freight carriers to book deliveries, monitor shipment status, and evaluate freight costs to support customer needs
- Ensure compliance with shipping policies by completing required forms accurately and efficiently
- Clearly present products and services to customers, helping them make informed choices and enhancing operational efficiency
- Listen actively to customer needs and identify new sales opportunities that align with their business goals
- Promote and upsell AAF’s promotional items, expanding product penetration and customer satisfaction
- Identify gaps in distribution and recommend solutions to strengthen customer partnerships
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers through consistent, value-driven interactions
- Stay current on AAF’s full product portfolio and actively monitor market trends and competing offerings
- Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets through a combination of consultative selling, responsiveness, and solution-driven service
- Represent Atlantic Aqua Farms at trade shows and key customer events, acting as an ambassador for our brand and values
Requirements:
- A strong passion for customer service and relationship building
- Proven success in a team-oriented, customer-facing sales role
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and active listening skills
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt to changing customer needs in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant sales, customer service, or account management experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems preferred.
Office Hours:
6:30 am-3 pm.
This role may occasionally involve additional hours, depending on business needs.
