- Own inbound RFQs from intake through order conversion, driving speed, accuracy, and profitability.
- Proactively communicate status updates, resolve issues, and prevent delays
- Price and structure quotes using reports, internal data, market awareness, cost inputs, and margin targets.
- Build working knowledge of the global steel supply chain, pricing dynamics, and industry-specific customer requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 to 4 years of inside sales, account management, or customer-facing commercial experience
- Ability to manage multiple quotes and priorities simultaneously without sacrificing accuracy
- Strong Math and Excel skills: must be comfortable working with dynamic pricing and margin calculations
- Clear and direct communicator who can handle customer expectations and push back when needed
- Detail-oriented with high standards for accuracy in orders, pricing, and system data
- Comfortable working with technical specifications, part requirements, and ERP (Invex) or CRM (HubSpot) systems
Nice to have
- Background in manufacturing, supply chain, or metals distribution environments
- Experience working within CRM or ERP systems, including extracting and using data to support decisions
- Exposure to Power BI or similar tools for reporting and performance analysis
Why Sullivan?
- Stable, family‐owned company with a strong reputation
- Three weeks of PTO in your first year
- Company closed between Christmas and New Year’s
- Paid holidays plus a floating holiday
- Employer‐sponsored Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance (up to 75% employer‐paid)
You don’t need to meet every qualification to apply. If you’re looking for a place to grow, contribute, and build a career, we’d love to hear from you.
