Instructional Designer - Change Management + Training Development: On behalf of our financial client, Procom is searching for an Instructional Designer - Change Management + Training Development for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client's Westlake, TX office.
Instructional Designer - Change Management + Training Development - Job Description: This role involves translating change impacts into effective training and enablement materials to facilitate successful adoption of new processes and tools. The contractor will be responsible for developing comprehensive training assets that align with change milestones and messaging.
Instructional Designer - Change Management + Training Development - Responsibilities: • Partner with change managers to understand change impacts and learning needs • Design and develop training assets such as instructor-led materials, self-paced content, and job aids • Support training plans and learning timelines aligned to change milestones • Ensure training content aligns with change messaging and target behaviors • Participate in testing and refinement of training materials based on feedback • Support coordination with learning platforms or delivery partners as needed
Instructional Designer - Change Management + Training Development - Mandatory Skills: • 2-4 years of experience in training development, instructional design, or learning support roles • Working knowledge of adult learning principles • Experience creating structured training content and job aids • Basic understanding of change management concepts and how training supports adoption • Strong organizational and documentation skills
Instructional Designer - Change Management + Training Development - Nice-to-Have Skills: • Experience with e-learning tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate) or LMS platforms • Exposure to technology, process, or operating model changes
