Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition SummarySTART Wellness Inc. is seeking a Licensed Clinician to serve as Team Leader for our Intensive In-Home (IIH) program serving children and adolescents with serious emotional and behavioral needs. IIH is a team-based, community-delivered, 24/7/365 service designed to prevent out-of-home placement and stabilize youth within their homes and communities.The Team Leader provides clinical leadership, therapy services, supervision, and oversight of IIH team interventions in accordance with NC Medicaid Clinical Coverage Policy 8A.Required Clinical DutiesProvide individual and family therapy to IIH beneficiariesLead and oversee clinical assessments and reassessmentsProvide clinical supervision and guidance to IIH team staffEnsure individualized supervision plans for all non-licensed team membersLead Person-Centered Planning and service implementationParticipate in crisis response planning and team availability modelMaintain compliance with IIH team ratio requirementsEnsure all documentation meets Medicaid and audit standardsCoordinate with Child & Family Teams and community partnersMonitor medical necessity and service effectivenessMinimum QualificationsMust meet NC definition of Licensed Professional, such as:LCSW / LCSW-ALCMHC / LCMHC-ALMFT / LMFT-ALicensed PsychologistOther NC recognized independent clinical licenseAssociate Licensed Clinicians may qualify if:Actively working toward full licensureBecome fully licensed within 30 months of hireExperience RequiredMinimum 1 year documented experience with child/adolescent behavioral health populationsRequired Training (Per IIH Policy)Must complete:Within 30 DaysIIH service definition trainingCrisis response trainingPerson-Centered Planning elementsWithin 90 Days24 hours modality training (CBT, Family Therapy, Trauma-Focused)Clinical supervision model training (minimum 12 hours if not modality-specific)Additional RequirementsValid driver’s license and reliable transportationAbility to provide community-based servicesBackground check clearanceMedicaid documentation competency
