Interim Financial Controls Consultant - Hospitality & Nightlife
This interim role serves as a subject matter expert focused on strengthening internal controls across complimentary policies, liquor sponsorships, and high-volume nightlife inventory. The consultant will evaluate current processes, identify control gaps, and design best‑practice solutions that protect revenue and reduce risk in a fast‑paced, regulated hospitality environment. The engagement also includes documenting a clear implementation roadmap and supporting knowledge transfer to a newly created permanent role.
This position is onsite in Las Vegas and requires flexibility to support night and weekend operations.
Requirements
- Experience in hospitality, nightlife, food & beverage, or gaming environments
- Proven ability to design, implement, and enforce internal controls across complex, integrated systems
- Hands‑on experience managing and reconciling complimentaries
- Experience with high‑volume, high‑value inventory (e.g., liquor)
- Strong process documentation and control design skills
- Ability to work onsite, including nights and weekends
- Experience operating in a regulated environment and partnering with finance and operations leaders
- Nevada Gaming Control Board license/registration (active or ability to obtain quickly)
- Valid Food/Health Handler certification
- Valid Alcohol Awareness card
Nice to Haves
- Familiarity with POS, property management, inventory/warehouse, and ERP system integrations
- Interim, consulting, or SME experience setting up new functions or roles
- Background supporting large‑scale nightlife or entertainment operations
