We’re a well-established, Brooklyn-based construction firm specializing in commercial interior renovations. We handle projects ranging from small tenant improvements to full interior build-outs. Position Overview:
We’re seeking a skilled Foreman/Construction Superintendent capable of leading projects in the field from start to finish. The ideal candidate has a strong carpentry background, excellent coordination skills, and proven longevity with previous employers. This role involves both hands-on work and jobsite oversight depending on project size and scope.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily jobsite operations for commercial interior renovation projects.
Coordinate all trades, ensure schedule adherence, and maintain site safety and quality.
Read and interpret drawings, RFIs, and specifications.
Work hands-on with tools when needed, especially on smaller projects.
Communicate clearly with the office, subcontractors, and clients.
Track progress, materials, and field issues.
Lead by example with professionalism and strong work ethic.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5–10 years of experience in commercial interior renovation.
Background as a carpenter or trade foreman required.
Experience supervising trades and scheduling day-to-day work.
Strong understanding of construction drawings and field coordination.
Trade school, engineering, or architectural education preferred.
NYC experience and OSHA training a plus.
Must demonstrate steady employment history and reliability.
