Interior Design Internship – Chawla N Associates (Mumbai)

Chawla N Associates (CNA) is an Architect-led Interior Design & Build practice based in Andheri West, Mumbai.

The studio works on residential and commercial interior projects with a strong focus on practical execution, detailing, coordination, and real-world problem solving — not just design presentations.

At CNA, interns are exposed to the complete process of interior projects including:

• drawings
• site coordination
• measurements
• materials
• detailing
• vendor interaction
• documentation
• execution systems

This internship is best suited for sincere learners who want practical industry exposure and are willing to learn how real interior projects are executed professionally.

This is a full-time, on-site internship role based in Mumbai.

The internship involves practical exposure to:

• AutoCAD drawings
• space planning
• furniture layouts
• electrical / ceiling / flooring layouts
• BOQs and documentation
• site visits and measurements
• coordination with vendors and contractors
• material understanding
• project execution support

Interns will work closely with the principal architect and team while learning practical interior execution systems used in real projects.

We are looking for candidates who are:

• sincere and responsible
• willing to learn practical work
• comfortable with drawings and detailing
• open to site exposure and execution learning
• patient with corrections and revisions
• interested in long-term professional growth

• Basic to intermediate AutoCAD
• Basic understanding of interior drawings
• Willingness to learn MS Excel / BOQs
• SketchUp / rendering knowledge is a plus, but not mandatory
