Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for an Interior Designer, based in Singapore. The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing and executing design concepts, creating detailed construction drawings, and strategizing efficient space planning. They will collaborate closely with the architectural and construction teams, manage FF&E selections, and ensure adherence to both client requirements and project constraints.
Coordination with vendors and project stakeholders will also form a key part of daily responsibilities.
What You'll DoDesign and develop creative and functional interior design concepts for various commercial, hospitality or mixed-use projects.Candidate must possess ability to conceptualise innovative ID concepts and has strong presentation skills.Present design concepts, mood boards and material palettes to aid in job procurement and discussion with clients.Oversee the selection of materials, FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment)Attend meetings and conduct site visits to ensure quality control and smooth project progression.Work collaboratively with team members of the architectural and landscape team and clients to create and implement a project’s design.
QualificationsDegree in Interior Design or equivalentMinimum of 5 years’ experience in interior design, with a focus on commercial and hospitality projects.Strong expertise in Interior Design and experience with Space PlanningKnowledge of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection and specificationExcellent visual communication and presentation skillsDetail-oriented, with strong organizational and project management capabilitiesProficiency in design software tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or equivalent softwareAble to work as part of a team independently and collaboratively.Able to work under pressure with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.Familiarity with Singapore building regulations and local industry standards is an advantage
