Interior Designer [2 Positions]
(2–4 Years Experience)
Location: South Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
Work Mode: Work from Office, On-Site
Employment Type: Full-time
At DMA, we focus on creating thoughtful, detail-driven and refined interior spaces, combining strong design sensibility with practical execution. We are looking for designers who are eager to contribute meaningfully across the design process and grow within a collaborative studio environment.
Role Description:
Role & Responsibilities -
• Develop design concepts, mood boards, space planning layouts and preparing construction drawings
• Prepare detailed drawings, presentations and design documentation
• Coordinate with consultants, vendors and site teams
• Assist in material selection, detailing and project development
• Support project execution to ensure design intent is maintained
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Interior Design and Space Planning to develop creative and functional layouts
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop and other relevant tools
- Excellent project management and teamwork skills
- Expertise in FF&E selection, including materials, finishes, and furnishings
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients and stakeholders
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- Experience in high-end residential, commercial, or hospitality design projects is a plus
This role may NOT be suitable if:
· You do not have relevant experience with interior design firms
· You do not have a degree/diploma in Interior design/Architecture
· You are only looking for conceptual/design-only work without execution involvement or vice-versa
