• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
• Setting: Outpatient Resident Clinic (Urban, Teaching Facility)
• Coverage Need: Ongoing until permanent physician is hired

Licensure & Certifications

• Connecticut Medical License - REQUIRED

Board Status & Experience

• Internal Medicine Trained - REQUIRED
• Primary Care Experience - REQUIRED
• Physicians Only (No APPs)

Clinical Role

• Position Type: Precepting / Supervisory Role
• Supervise resident clinic sessions alongside another attending
• Work with 5-6 learners per session
• Patient Volume: 18-25 patients per half day (varies by resident level)

Responsibilities

• Teaching and supervising residents during patient encounters
• Examining patients jointly with residents (direct care with interns July-December)
• Providing feedback and completing evaluations
• Managing inbox, prescriptions, and administrative tasks

Call Requirements

• Shared call every 3rd week
• Residents take first call
• Attending contacted only if needed (via phone or secure messaging)

Practice Details

• Fully resident-run, urban outpatient clinic
• Collaborative teaching environment with attending support

• Ideal start: Mid-June
• Focus on education and oversight, not independent panel building
• Light call burden due to resident-first model
