Role Overview:DeHaat is seeking energetic and purpose-driven interns for the Market Development role - a high-impact position at the intersection of agri-tech and rural commerce. In this role, you will have exposure in the agri-input value chain, building relationships with stakeholders, organizing demonstration events, and driving adoption of DeHaat's products and digital solutions across your assigned territory. Key Responsibilities:Farmer & Stakeholder EngagementMeet with farmers regularly to understand their needs and promote DeHaat's input products.Build and maintain relationships with retailers, dealers, and lead farmers in the assigned territoryCoordinate regularly between farmers and the DeHaat Centres for seamless service deliverySales & Business DevelopmentPromote and drive sales of agricultural inputs through direct farmer engagementIdentify new market opportunities and expand DeHaat's reach in underserved areasAchieve monthly liquidation targets for input products at the farmers levelEvent Organization & PromotionOrganize and execute promotional events, farmer meets, product demonstrations, and field daysConduct awareness campaigns on modern farming practices and DeHaat's technology solutionsTechnology ImplementationLearn and adapt to technology solutionsDemonstrate technology benefits to farmers and encourage adoptionCollect field data and provide feedback to improve technology solutionsReporting & CoordinationMaintain daily activity reports on farmer meetings, sales, and market insightsCoordinate on inventory and orddersAttend regular team meetings and training sessions
Required Qualifications & Skills:EducationCurrently pursuing or completed: Bachelor's / Masters degree in Agriculture / MBA in Agribusiness ManagementEssential SkillsStrong interpersonal skills: Ability to handle retailers, dealers, and lead farmers effectivelyCommunication: Excellent verbal communication in Hindi and English; regional language proficiency is a plusTechnology aptitude: Willingness to learn and implement technology solutions on the fieldOrganizational skills: Ability to plan and execute promotional events independently
