IT Applications Manager (Software Solutions)

We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on IT Applications Manager (Software Solutions) to lead the development, integration, and optimization of software platforms supporting our retail, eCommerce, and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in enterprise systems and programming, coupled with proven leadership experience in managing a software engineering team. Job Responsibilities:Oversee the implementation, enhancement, and support of business-critical systems, including Point of Sale (POS), ERP, CRM, and WMS platformsLead and mentor a team of software engineers and business analysts to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.Collaborate with business stakeholders to define system requirements and translate them into technical specificationsManage end-to-end delivery of web applications and internal integration solutions that streamline business operations and enhance system interoperabilityEnsure system integrations, data consistency, and security across platformsMaintain a hands-on role in programming, particularly in Python, and perform regular code reviewsDrive internal systems integration using APIs, message queues, or middleware to ensure real-time data exchange across platformsEnsure technical documentation, best practices, and change management processes are adhered toMonitor emerging technologies and propose strategic system improvements Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field5+ years of relevant IT/software experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or technical lead roleStrong technical expertise in Python and software development best practicesExperience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Alicloud)Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or API integrationsProven experience with one or more enterprise systems, including: POS systems (e.g., Oracle Xstore), ERP (e.g., SAP), CRM (e.g., Salesforce), OMS, WMS, RFID, Ecommerce (Salesforce Commerce Cloud)Experience working in retail, eCommerce, or supply chain industriesExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple prioritiesStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across business and technical teams
