IT GRC Lead
TEKsystems c/o Allegis Group
Job Description
Description
As the IT Governance, Risk and Compliance Lead, you will sit in the Enterprise Security organization under the CISO. The major responsibilities of this role will be broken into two major categories:
Leading Existing IT GRC Programs
First, as a partner bridging the gap between Information Security, Technology, and Line of Business stakeholders, you must build relationships with these stakeholders and leverage their technical understanding and security expertise to translate for the business so they understand what is being asked and why. This partnership should generate buy‑in from bank leaders to support the mission and values of the bank and to ensure the right things are being done for InfoSec and overall security, while raising awareness of security programs and expectations across business units.
Second, you will oversee IT regulatory reviews, IT audits, and controls testing for the enterprise, prepare reports on findings and remediation plans, and keep up to date on emerging regulatory policies, trends, and their impact on the bank. You will also support the lifecycle of issue management to ensure policies are upheld and exceptions are properly communicated and reviewed before approval or denial. Additionally, you will oversee the vendor cybersecurity risk management program for critical business services.
Develop Future IT GRC Best Practices
This involves taking the learning from the existing programs and applying it to the development of new programs, including security policy and guidelines and their socialization to ensure the bank evolves with regulations. You will build out standardized documents and processes, automate where possible, and undertake transformation activities to support the growth of the bank and promote the best possible IT GRC framework adoption.
