The Role: Technical Sales and Infrastructure Advisory
This role is a technical pre-sales position focused on driving revenue and market presence for enterprise IT infrastructure and storage solutions. The consultant will partner with sales teams to engage mid-to-large enterprises, provide expert consultation on infrastructure modernization, lead solution design efforts, and ensure successful technical representation throughout the sales and bidding cycle
Responsibilities
Partner with Account Managers to gain customer insight, identify, develop, and successfully close project opportunities within the defined market territoryOffer expert consultation and technical guidance to key accounts on their IT infrastructure refresh and modernization initiativesProvide comprehensive pre-sales support, including Enterprise IT Infrastructure and Network Architecture Design, Bill-of-Materials (BoM) configuration, pricing, and technical proposal customizationLead technical engagement by conducting individual and seminar presentations on company solutions to prospects and customers, fostering new project pipelinesOversee all pre-sales aspects of tender management, organizing responses, replying to, and providing clarification on complex tender requestsPromote the full range of solutions (hardware and software) to enterprise and government clients, producing and delivering formal presentations and business proposalsIdentify critical customer requirements and collaborate with the Product & Solution team to ensure the feasibility and deliverability of technical needs
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline3 to 5 years of experience in a technical pre-sales role with a focus on Enterprise IT infrastructureWorking knowledge and best practices for Backup, Storage, Server, and Disaster Recovery methodologiesProven consultative solution selling skills to effectively align client business needs with technical solutionsPrior, demonstrable experience in managing and responding to formal tender requestsAbility to effectively work with and leverage channel partners to drive additional revenue and optimize market coverage
