This is a remote position.

Seeking an IT Project Manager to provide support for DSS program areas working on technology implementations as well as:

• Lead a team of business and data analysts to oversee the design, development, and implementation of various information system transformation projects.
  
• Assists with defining the strategic direction of enterprise level IT implementations.
  
• Define business and technological requirements, consult with product owners, subject matter experts, and scrum teams to define business needs and objectives.
  
• Provides project management of highly complex large scale enterprise IT projects and smaller scale projects.
  
• Lead and coordinate efforts of development team and vendors to ensure solutions are implemented successfully.
  
• Support business and operations staff with analysis and testing activities for information system changes.
  
• Prepare project status reports and documentation as needed to facilitate executive decision making and communicate project progress and risks.
  
• Ensures project governance and monitoring controls are in place and followed.
  
• Responsible to ensure project design, development, and implementation are on time and budget.
  
• Mentor state personnel in project management and train state resources to take over this function.
  

Required 5-8 years of the following:

• Successful experience managing information technology solutions
  
• PMP Certification or equivalent working experience.
  
• Knowledge of various software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, DevOps, etc).
  
• Experience in successfully applying project management and project governance principles.
