The candidate will play a pivotal role in assessing mortgage applications by verifying documentation and fostering strong relationships with brokers and external partners. Focus on compliance and risk evaluation will drive success.

Key Responsibilities: • Build and maintain relationships with mortgage brokers • Ensure thorough collection of all documentation needed • Verify compliance of income, down payment and property documentation • Escalate issues to the Underwriter efficiently • Keep detailed notes in underwriting systems

Requirements: • Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience necessary • Prior experience in financial services a plus • Mortgage industry knowledge preferred • Strong organizational and time management skills • High-level communication skills and conflict resolution ability
