Job Summary:
Anthology, Inc. is a global educational technology solutions company, seeking an Application Developer. The role involves designing, developing, and modifying software applications, facilitating agile project planning, and creating cloud-based applications with modern frameworks.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and modify software application prototypes and features in conjunction with fellow Developers and Business Analysts for a global educational technology solutions company.
- Design and document development tasks within the system of record.
- Serve as the Sprint Planner of the development project following agile methodologies.
- Create applications that work well across platforms through responsive design for mobile support.
- Develop good, reusable, high-quality code and moderate code reviews.
- Facilitate the project unit, integration, performance, and functional testing and results of the project.
- Research and experiment with new technology that will advance future projects and introduce efficiencies of overall application development.
- Provide support to managers to determine work tasks and estimate level of effort within project timeline.
- Adhere to established delivery methodology, quality standards, and best practices.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Two (2) years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based applications in an agile environment.
- Two (2) years of experience in cloud-based loosely coupled architecture patterns, microservices design, and domain/model architecture.
- Two (2) years of experience in HTML/CSS3 transformations, transitions, and events-driven design.
- Two (2) years of experience in designing and developing cloud-based applications using well-known industry standards and TypeScript language.
- Two (2) years of experience in RESTful API design, client consumption, and micro frameworks like Ajax, jQuery, Angular, React, and Prototype.
