Legal Administrative Assistant – Litigation & Corporate (Philadelphia, In-Office)
Direct Counsel represents a well-regarded Am Law firm seeking an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to support a dynamic mix of litigation and transactional attorneys in its Philadelphia office. This is a highly visible, in-office role supporting practices including Commercial Litigation, Employment Litigation, ESOP Transactions, Employee Benefits, and Energy.

What You’ll Do:
- Support attorneys with day-to-day operations, including calendar management, travel, expenses, and billing
- Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents with speed and precision
- Handle state and federal court e-filings and maintain case files
- Manage document organization, new matter intake, and file maintenance
- Coordinate meetings, deadlines, and communications across teams and clients
- Assist with billing reviews, expense reimbursements, and vendor invoices
- Serve as a key point of contact, ensuring seamless workflow and responsiveness
What We’re Looking For:
- 5–7+ years of experience in a law firm (litigation and/or transactional support)
- Strong experience with state and federal e-filing
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiarity with tools such as iManage, InTapp, and Chrome River
- Exceptional organization, multitasking, and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a client-service mindset
- Ability to anticipate needs, take initiative, and work both independently and collaboratively
