A well-established law firm is seeking a Temporary Legal Assistant to provide dedicated support to an attorney.
This onsite role in the firm's Buckhead office provides direct, day-to-day support with a strong focus on dictation, document preparation, and contract-related work. The role is best suited for an experienced legal support professional who is comfortable working closely with attorneys and producing polished documents in a fast-moving environment.
This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys focused, hands-on legal support work and takes pride in producing accurate documents from dictation.
Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day administrative and legal support to an attorney * Draft and format documents from dictation * Edit and proofread documents in Microsoft Word and PDF formats * Assist with contract-related documentation * Communicate regularly with the attorney to capture instructions and complete assignments * Ensure documents are prepared accurately and delivered in a timely manner * Maintain organization of files and documents
Qualifications
* Prior experience as a Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary, or Legal Support Specialist * Typing speed of 70+ WPM preferred * Experience working with dictation * Strong Microsoft Word skills and comfort editing PDFs * Professional, patient, and able to remain calm under pressure * Comfortable speaking with attorneys by phone to complete assignments * Prior experience supporting attorneys in a law firm environment strongly preferred
