Compensation:$60,000 base + commission
Responsibilities:
- Customize personal lines insurance policy options, quotes, and educational materials for potential and current customers
- Identify and secure new business through creative sales tactics, including networking and cold calling
- Review insurance policies for accuracy, coverage, and limits in order to recommend modifications, as needed
- Ensure up-to-date information within insurance company databases to effectively drive sales and current customers
- Maintain a high standard of customer service excellence when solving billing, policy change, claims, or coverage related issues
Qualifications:
- Valid, state issued insurance license is mandatory: Property and Casualty Insurance License and/or Life and Health Insurance License
- Strong aptitude for computer programs including Microsoft Office required; agency management system experience preferred
- Prior experience in the insurance industry as an insurance producer for personal lines
- Effective collaborator with a goal-oriented approach to achieving sales success
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent insurance industry experience and a high school diploma are required
