The Opportunity
The Logistics Manager is a hands-on operational leader responsible for executing and overseeing daily dispatch, routing, and transportation activities in support of event operations. This role is directly involved in day-to-day execution, working with drivers and warehouse teams to ensure all deliveries and pickups are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute daily dispatch schedules for drivers.
- Build and adjust routes in real time based on event needs.
- Communicate directly with drivers throughout the day.
- Resolve delays, routing issues, and site challenges immediately.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams for staging and loading.
- Verify trucks are loaded correctly and secured.
- Monitor route execution and adjust to maintain timelines.
- Ensure DOT/FMCSA compliance including logs and documentation.
- Oversee pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Support fleet readiness, maintenance, and inspections.
- Maintain accurate dispatch logs and delivery confirmations.
- Train and supervise drivers and dispatch staff.
- Act as primary escalation point for logistics issues.
- Utilize systems including Samsara, IE Routing, and JJ Keller.

Qualifications & Experience
R e q u i r e d
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of experience in logistics or dispatch.
- Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations.
- Leadership experience managing teams.
- Experience with routing and tracking systems.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

- Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the workday in a warehouse environment.
- Frequently required to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs unassisted; team lift required for items exceeding 50 lbs.
- Must be able to operate powered industrial equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks to move inventory safely.
- Must be able to remain on feet for extended periods and move throughout a large warehouse facility.

- This position operates in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, dust, and moving equipment.
- The employee may occasionally be required to work in outdoor loading dock areas subject to varying weather conditions.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including safety footwear, high visibility vests, and gloves is required in designated areas.
- Schedule flexibility is required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
