Logistics Team Lead

Job Title: Logistics Team Lead – Nuclear Team

Based at Pharmaceutical Diagnostics production site in Eindhoven, you will manage transportation and related logistics of Class 7 goods and services while leading a team of 14 direct reports. This full‑time role offers hybrid work possibilities for candidates located in the Eindhoven region.

Essential Responsibilities

• Lead a logistics team of 4 coordinators, 3 specialists and 7 student assistants (hiring, evaluating, coaching, instructing).
• Support daily operations – logistics of nuclear goods (escalations, prioritisation).
• Steer and supervise projects performed by specialists, prioritised with the Project Management team.
• Manage relationships with carriers and freight forwarders; represent the business during monthly/quarterly and annual reviews.
• Follow up on quality incidents – deviations, investigations, change controls, CAPAs.
• Supervise team compliance (training, work instructions, process oversight).
• Understand and control logistics costs (airfreight rates, road line hauls, taxes).

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or related field.
• Relevant experience in logistics or freight forwarding; control tower experience is a plus.
• People‑management experience leading a team.
• Fluent English; Dutch is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Team player.
• Willingness to work on call shifts after office hours.
• Ability to declare behaviour (VGB) – application handled by GE HealthCare.

Desired Requirements

• Experience with exceptional goods such as batteries, oils, alcohol and DG experience/education.
