Responsibilities

• IODF & Broadcom Products Engineer
• Maintain working knowledge of IODF creation and implementation.
• Thorough knowledge of the CHIP ID Mapping Tool (CMT).
• Maintain understanding of Broadcom products (Datacom, CA7 etc) including product support and currency.
• Knowledge of installation process: SMPE to Install libraries, to test, to production.
• Understanding of HIPER, FIXCAT and PE’d PTF’s.
• Install IBM z/OS Broadcom, zOS upgrade, IODF
• Knowledge on Parallel Sysplex concepts
• Experience mainframe LPAR builds
• Installation of patches and fixes
• Installation and maintenance of ISV products
• System parameters/parmlib maintenance
• Managing incidents on z/OS related issues
• zOS MF configuration and setup
• z/OS performance monitoring and reporting
