Finance Manager – Neurology (Qulipta)
Purpose
The primary objective of this position is to provide end‑to‑end finance leadership and support for the Neuroscience business unit, specifically Qulipta. The Finance Manager is responsible for revenue forecasts for the US Qulipta franchise, reports to the Associate Director of Migraine Finance, and supports commercial GMs and their teams on forecasting models, month‑end close activities, and collaboration with CoE Forecasting, Price Forecasting, Sales & Marketing, Market Access, and Demand Planning teams.
Responsibilities
- Align with commercial business partners, market access, and finance leaders on market/patient assumptions for all forecast periods (LBE, Plan, Long Range Plan) and develop scenario planning.
- Integrate hypotheses into forecast models and maintain/improve patient flow model for precise outputs.
- Prepare and submit monthly ADS, deliver Min/Max scenario and partner with Global Operations and Demand Planning to ensure optimal supply.
- Use external data sources (IQVIA, payer mix, wholesaler inventory) to provide insights on market events and demand assumptions.
- Prepare and share weekly and monthly demand reports, support month‑end/quarter‑end closing, and monitor dashboard accuracy.
- Load forecasts into required financial systems (CDLF, ADS, etc.) for consolidation for US NEC, US Tx, Global and Corporate reviews, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.
- Contribute to management review decks (LBE, Plan, LRP) and prepare concise narratives on key performance drivers.
- Strategic partner for target functions: provide clear, concise narratives, robust financials, and deliverables for Executive management.
- Provide decision support/special projects such as AI pilot, analyses for ad‑hoc presentations, and quarterly earnings preparation.
- Execute all responsibilities with high self‑motivation and autonomy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance.
- Optional: MBA in Accounting or Finance and/or CPA/CMA.
- Minimum 7 years progressive FP&A experience in the pharma industry.
- Forecasting experience, business acumen, understanding of business dynamics.
- Ability to influence without direct authority.
- Knowledge of the financial planning process.
- Proactive in searching and evaluating business problems and opportunities.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, able to summarize complex dynamics for executives.
- Ability to work independently, lead multiple processes, and meet tight deadlines.
- Advanced technical skills; knowledge of PowerBI and CDLF.

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location and may be modified in the future.
