Position: Manager – Purchase & Supply Chain Management (SCM)
Location: Mangalore
Reporting To: Operations Head
Team Size: 12–14 members
Hiring Urgency: Immediate
Compensation: ₹9 LPA CTC (based on fit and relevant experience)

1. Organization Overview
A growing, multi-location healthcare provider focused on strengthening operational excellence and building structured, process-driven systems across functions. The organization is in a transformation phase, moving towards a more disciplined, corporate-style operating model.
2. Role Summary
We are seeking a strong hospital procurement and supply chain professional to lead and transform the Purchase & SCM function.
This is a hands-on, transformation-focused role requiring structure, process discipline, and commercial rigor in an evolving setup. The role focuses on procurement efficiency, inventory control, vendor management, and reporting discipline while ensuring uninterrupted availability of medicines and consumables.
3. Key Responsibilities
- Lead purchase, stores, and SCM operations across locations
- Drive sourcing, vendor evaluation, negotiation, and commercial closure
- Standardize vendor contracts and rate agreements
- Establish reorder levels, stock norms, and replenishment planning
- Monitor inventory ageing, non-moving and expiry-risk stock
- Implement controls across indents, POs, approvals, and GRN processes
- Coordinate with pharmacy for procurement planning and optimization
- Work with finance and operations on compliance and reporting
- Build MIS dashboards on cost, inventory, savings, and vendor performance
- Lead and develop the team with strong accountability

5. Systems / ERP Exposure
Experience with structured ERP / hospital information systems / procurement platforms required. Exposure to KareXpert is an added advantage.
6. Educational Qualifications
MBA / PGDM in Supply Chain, Operations, Materials Management, or Hospital Administration preferred
7. Candidate Profile
- 8–10+ years of experience
- Minimum 5 years in hospital / healthcare SCM
- Experience in hospital chains or large institutions preferred
- Exposure to 300+ bed hospitals desirable
- Multi-location experience preferred
- NABH exposure is an advantage
- Strong team management and process improvement track record
