Role summaryThe Strategic Program Management and Operations Excellence Manager is responsible for leading, managing, and coaching strategic programs across UTAC sites. This role ensures the successful execution of programs by aligning them with organizational goals, optimizing operational efficiency, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The manager collaborates with cross-functional teams, drives operational excellence initiatives, and ensures the delivery of high-quality outcomes within defined timelines and budgets. This position plays a critical role in enhancing organizational performance and achieving strategic objectives through effective program management and operational leadership. Core Responsibilities A. Lead Strategic Program ManagementDevelop and oversee strategic programs to align with organizational goals.Ensure programs are delivered on time, within scope, and within budgetMonitor and evaluate program performance to ensure continuous improvement.B. Drive Operational ExcellenceImplement best practices to optimize operational efficiency across UTAC sites.Identify and address process inefficiencies to enhance productivity.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.C. Consult and Coach TeamsProvide guidance and mentorship to program teams to enhance their capabilities.Facilitate knowledge sharing and skill development across teams.Promote a collaborative and high-performance work environmentD. Stakeholder Engagement and CommunicationBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Communicate program progress, risks, and outcomes effectively to stakeholders.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on program objectives.
RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related fieldMinimum 8 years of experience in program management, operations, or continuous improvement roles, preferably within the semiconductor or manufacturing industryProven experience leading complex, cross-functional programs in multi-site or global organizationStrong knowledge of program/ project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)Demonstrated success delivering programs on time, within scope, and within budgetAbility to manage risks, prioritize effectively, and drive execution across multiple initiativesExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholdersStrong stakeholder management and influencing skills across diverse teams and functions
