The department collaborates with internal clients and suppliers managing more than $12 billion of annual company spend to develop mutually beneficial total value solutions for goods and services. The department provides the following services to internal clients: procurement of goods and services, strategic sourcing and cost savings, category management, supplier relationship management, execution and outreach, compliance management, ongoing procurement field support and management of the source to pay cycle. /ppstrong/strong/ppPosition Summary /pp/ppThe Manager, Vegetation Management Strategic Sourcing role is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that align with the goals of the Vegetation Management portfolio across all business lines and broader enterprise objectives.
This position leads strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier governance to drive performance, cost savings, sustainability, and supplier diversity. The role works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure sourcing activities meet operational needs and capital projects while identifying opportunities for process improvements, standardization, and increased value. This is a highly collaborative role that plays a key part in strengthening sourcing outcomes and enhancing the client experience within the portfolio./pp/ppThis position is hybrid, working from your remote office and Oakland./ppPGamp;E is providing the salary range that can reasonably be expected for this position at the time of the job posting.
This salary range is specific to the locality of the job.
