Accounting Manager – Manufacturing Compensation: $90,000 – $100,000 Location: Orlando, FL (Onsite) About the Opportunity This is a high-impact opportunity to join a growing manufacturing organization at a pivotal stage of transformation. The Accounting Manager will step into a leadership role with full ownership of the accounting function, playing a critical part in stabilizing operations, improving financial reporting, and building scalable processes. Why This Role Stands Out True ownership of accounting operations in a leadership capacity Opportunity to build structure within an organization undergoing transition Exposure to multi-entity accounting and manufacturing operations Direct partnership with ownership and executive leadership Ability to drive process improvements and contribute to future ERP implementation Hands-on role with immediate visibility and impact Core Responsibilities Oversee full-cycle accounting across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and consistency Prepare and review financial statements, along with supporting schedules and workpapers Manage the month-end close process, including reconciliations and variance analysis Provide oversight of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions Support product costing, inventory accounting, and manufacturing-related financial activities Review and approve payroll while maintaining oversight of related processes Monitor cash activity, manage banking relationships, and ensure proper controls Perform detailed account reconciliations, including bank and credit card accounts Assist with audit preparation and ensure proper documentation and compliance Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements across the accounting function Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities Strong background in manufacturing accounting and product costing Experience managing full-cycle accounting in a multi-entity environment Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Proven ability to improve processes and operate effectively in a changing environment Hands-on approach with strong attention to detail and ownership mindset Effective communication skills and ability to work closely with leadership Work Environment Fully onsite role within a hands-on manufacturing setting Entrepreneurial, evolving organization with improving systems and processes High-visibility position with direct access to leadership and decision-makers Ideal Candidate Profile This role is best suited for a proactive, hands-on accounting professional who thrives in environments that require structure, problem-solving, and leadership.
