Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMaterials Coordinator - 1st shiftShift: 7:00am - 3:30pm EST Pay Rate: $22.15 per hourPosition SummaryWe are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Materials Coordinator to support distribution and material movement operations in a fast-paced environment. This role involves handling moderately complex assignments requiring sound judgment, accuracy, and adherence to established procedures.The ideal candidate will safely operate powered industrial equipment, maintain inventory accuracy, and support shipping, receiving, and distribution functions while working collaboratively to achieve team goals.Materials Coordinator Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for safe and accurate loading and unloading of products within the distribution center.Use ERP systems (SAP) for location, storage, and movement of materials.Process customer orders including scanning bar codes, picking, and packaging.Maintain an acceptable work area according to SOP and work instructions.Ensure accuracy verification during shipment packaging.Operation of material handling equipment in compliance with safety standards.Train and implement functions in SAP as required.Materials Coordinator Required Skills & Qualifications3+ years of similar related experience requiredAbility to read, write, and perform basic math calculationsExperienced operating material handling equipment Including but not limited to Order Pickers, Reach Trucks, Counter Balance (slip and clamp), and Dock StockerForklift certification required or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hireBasic computer proficiency within a Windows environmentAbility to operate packaging equipment and shipping systems (UPS or similar)Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize deviations from standard practicesAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong decision-making and organizational skillsMaterials Coordinator Physical RequirementsLift and move:5–25 lbs continuously25–60 lbs frequentlyAbility to stand, walk, lift, and perform warehouse duties throughout shiftMaterials Coordinator Education & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum 3 years of warehouse or material handling experience requiredSAP experienceAdditional InformationTeam-oriented work environmentOpportunity to work with advanced warehouse systems and equipmentOvertime may be required based on business needsIf you think this Materials Coordinator position is a good fit for you, please apply now to Chris Meyer for immediate consideration!
