Medical Biller Cardiology PracticePosition OverviewMerced Heart Associates is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Biller to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all claims are billed accurately and in a timely manner across multiple service lines.You will manage billing for all providers, complete monthly program billing, and work closely with providers and staff to resolve issues, respond to requests, and ensure smooth, efficient billing operations.Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.Key ResponsibilitiesAccurately and promptly submit claims for all services renderedManage billing workflows for four providersComplete monthly billing for programs including CCM and RPM (KenCor)Communicate with providers and staff to resolve billing issues and requestsEnsure timely follow-up on all billing-related tasksMaintain compliance with billing guidelines and payer requirementsDaily DutiesOffice visits (all providers)EchocardiogramsTreadmill stress testsEKGsHolter & MCT monitoringNuclear studiesIn-office pacemaker checksABI testingLower extremity ultrasoundsKenCor (RPM enrollment & monthly billing)Chronic Care Management (CCM) monthly billingLoop procedures performed in officeShared Department ResponsibilitiesInsurance Verifications: Assist with verifying patient insurance coverage prior to appointmentsClaims Management: Maintain and update assigned billing folders and follow up on outstanding claimsPatient Support (In Office): Assist patients at the billing window, answer questions, and support the billing processPatient Support (Phone): Handle incoming billing-related calls and ensure timely, professional responsesQualificationsCertification Required: Billing CertificationExperience Required: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare settingProficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsLanguage Skills: Spanish or Punjabi is a plusCompensation$18.50 $19.50 per hour, depending on experienceWhy Join Merced Heart Associates?At Merced Heart Associates, we take pride in creating a supportive, team-oriented environment where our staff can grow and succeed.
