Medical Director, Reproductive Endocrinology: Telehealth (Part-Time)
Stryker Corporation
Job Description
Medical Director, Reproductive Endocrinology — Telehealth (Part-Time, Remote)
About Gala Health
Gala Health is a fast-growing women's health telehealth platform serving thousands of patients across weight management and hormone replacement therapy. We are launching a direct‑to‑consumer fertility program and seeking a Reproductive Endocrinologist to serve as Medical Director.
The Opportunity
This is a part-time, fully remote role. You will design and oversee our fertility clinical protocols — not see every patient. Day‑to‑day patient consultations will be handled by OB/GYNs and women’s health NPs under your clinical guidelines. No procedures, no clinic, no administrative burden.
What You’ll Do
- Design fertility clinical protocols: ovulation induction (letrozole, clomid), progesterone supplementation, hormone optimization, and fertility assessment pathways.
- Establish clinical guidelines for telehealth‑based fertility evaluation and medication management.
- Oversee and support a team of OB/GYN physicians and NPs delivering virtual fertility care.
- Review complex cases and provide clinical guidance as needed.
- Collaborate with our medical and product teams to build patient intake flows, lab panels, and treatment pathways.
- Establish referral criteria and clinical pathways for patients who require IUI, IVF, or other procedural interventions.
What We’re Looking For
- Board‑certified Reproductive Endocrinologist (REI fellowship‑trained).
- Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license.
- Experience designing or overseeing clinical protocols for fertility treatment.
- Comfortable with telehealth delivery models.
- Entrepreneurial mindset – building something new, not maintaining an existing program.
Compensation
$8,000–$15,000/month for an estimated 10–15 hours/month. Flexible schedule, fully remote. Equity consideration available for the right candidate.
Why This Role Is Different
You’re not joining a clinic. You’re building the fertility vertical of a women’s health platform that has already proven the DTC telehealth model at scale. The infrastructure – technology, compliance, payments, provider network, patient acquisition – is already built. We just need your clinical expertise to launch.
Qualifications
- Board‑certified Reproductive Endocrinologist (ABOG‑certified, REI fellowship‑trained).
- Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state (multi‑state licensure preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in reproductive endocrinology and infertility.
- Experience designing or implementing clinical protocols for ovulation induction, hormone optimization, and fertility assessment.
- Familiarity with telehealth‑based care delivery models.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with non‑clinical teams.
