Position Description
The Microsoft 365 Collaboration Administrator to support and optimize our Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint environments for approximately 4,000 users. This role will focus on day-to-day administration, implementing best practices, supporting migrations, and helping shape a scalable and well-governed collaboration environment.
Essential Duties and TasksPlatform Administration (30%): Administer Microsoft Teams and SharePoint Online environments, including provisioning, configuration, and support. Manage Teams, channels, permissions, and associated SharePoint sites. Monitor system health and performance.Governance and Lifecycle Management (25%): Implement governance policies including naming conventions, retention, access controls, and lifecycle management to ensure compliance and security.User Support and Enablement (20%): Provide Tier 2/3 support, assist users with collaboration best practices, and develop training materials to improve adoption.Migration and Integration Support (15%): Support migrations from legacy systems and integrate Microsoft 365 tools with business applications.Process Improvement and Documentation (10%): Maintain documentation, develop standards, and identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.
Education and/or Experience• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.• 2-4 years of experience administering Microsoft 365, with focus on Teams and SharePoint.• Experience with Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Teams Admin Center, and SharePoint Admin Center.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations• Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate preferred.• Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert is a plus.
Qualifications• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams and SharePoint Online.• Experience with governance, compliance, and security features.• Familiarity with PowerShell scripting.• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
