Morning Goods in Operative

About us: The Bread Factory is London's leading Artisan Bakery, known for award-winning breads, pastries, and cakes, supplying top-quality products across e-commerce, grocery, food services, and retailers such as our GAIL's Bakeries nationwide. We are looking for a Goods In Operative to join our busy Production Department. This role is essential in ensuring all incoming goods are received, checked, recorded, and stored correctly to support our production operations.

Contracted hours: 45 hours Working Hours: 6:30am-3:30pm Hourly rate of £14.10 per hour Shift Pattern: Mon-Sun, any 5 days out of 7 Location: Hendon, London, NW9 - If you live within a 5-mile radius, this job is for you Our people tell us you will be a great addition to the team if you can Receive and unload deliveries safely and efficientlyCheck goods against delivery notes and purchase ordersInspect deliveries for damage or discrepanciesAccurately book goods into the stock management systemLabel and store stock in the correct locationsCommunicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams regarding shortages or issuesSupport stock takes and maintain accurate inventory recordsKeep the goods-in area clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety standardsWork accurately with strong attention to detailStay organised in a fast-paced production environmentTake ownership of your tasks and work independentlyBe reliable, punctual, and proactive We are looking for candidates who have Previous experience in a warehouse, goods-in, or production environment (preferred)Basic IT skills and confidence using stock systemsGood numerical skills for checking quantities and documentationAn understanding of health & safety in a warehouse or production settingA forklift licence (desirable but not essential) What's in it for you?
