MS English Teacher

School Faculty - Middle - St. Agatha Catholic School

St. Agatha Catholic School in Miami, Florida, has an opening for a qualified Middle School English Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.

This candidate must be passionate about teaching English to 6th, 7th and 8th graders. This teacher will be required to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program, while assessing student learning. The Middle School English Teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.

Salary will vary based on certification and years of service.

Qualifications:

• BS / BA Degree in English or related field.
• Florida Department of Education English teaching certificate, temporary or professional required.
• Must be supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church.
• Proficient in strategies to teach middle school students.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Experience with instructional technologies.
• Excellent oral and written English.
• Ability to collaborate with all stakeholders: administration, colleagues, parents and students.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel, PowerPoint.
