New Business Consultant

Overview

United Talent is looking to urgently fill a New Business Consultant role in the Teays Valley, WV area. This role is responsible for identifying and cultivating business partnerships in the community.

Job Duties

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within target industries and territories
• Conduct high-volume outreach (calls, emails, in‑person visits) to generate leads and build pipeline
• Present staffing solutions including temporary, temp‑to‑hire, and direct hire services
• Meet with clients to understand hiring needs, workforce challenges, and company culture
• Negotiate bill rates, contracts, and service agreements with clients
• CRM entry and database management

Pay & Hours

This is an hourly, non‑exempt position. Pay is dependent on previous sales experience. This will be a guaranteed salary plus monthly commission based on new business generation.

Hours: Typically 8:00am‑5:00pm Monday‑Friday. Position requires schedule flexibility to meet networking and business needs.

Requirements

• 1 year of business to business sales (outside or inside)
• Sense of urgency with the ability to multi‑task
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong computer skills
