TransForce is seeking a Non-CDL Box Truck driver to support local operations based in Brooklyn, NY.
This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
Non-CDL Box Truck Driver Details
- Schedule: 5 days/week; will most likely work weekends at first. 8-9 hours per day.
- Start times: Either between 3:30 AM - 8 AM, OR 12:20 PM - 8PM.
Pay: $21 Per Hour, $700 - $800 Estimated weekly pay
Route Type: Local
Freight / Load Type: Groceries
Equipment: Refrigerated box truck
Handling: Load and unload grocery deliveries by hand or with hand cart
Non-CDL Box Truck Driver Minimum Requirements:
License: Non-CDL
Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
Equipment Experience: Box truck
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
Non-CDL Box Truck Driver Responsibilities:
Safely operate a refrigerated box truck on local routes
Transport groceries in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
Perform required handling tasks including loading and unloading the truck by hand or with hand carts
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role, including loading and unloading deliveries by hand or with hand carts
