Title: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Location: Washington Heights

Shift: Part-Time – 2 days per week (8-hour shifts)

Type: Part Time

Salary: $55 – $75 per hour (based on experience)

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing outpatient practice in Washington Heights. Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will work under the supervision of the Physician or Surgeon but may work independently, consulting with Physicians when necessary. You should have experience in all areas of medicine but may specialize in an area such as pain management.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and manage patient care
• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Prescribe medications in accordance with NYS regulations
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient encounters
• See new and follow-up patients
• Take detailed medical and social histories
• Coordinate care with physicians and other providers
• Maintain a safe and compliant clinical environment
• Assist supervising physician when needed

Qualifications:

• Active New York NP or PA license
• Board Certification
• BLS Certification
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Experience in Pain Management or PM&R (Required)
• New grads encouraged to apply
