Locums OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner - Colorado Springs, Colorado Availability

• Schedule:
  • Clinic: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Some hospital coverage required
• Call:
  • 1:5 weekday call
  • 1:10 nights/weekends
• Full-time coverage strongly preferred

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (required)
• Active Colorado License (preferred)
• BLS, ACLS, NRP (required)

• OB/GYN experience (required)
• Must be comfortable with:
  • Routine & complicated deliveries
  • C-sections, VBACs, breech, multiples
  • Fetal heart rate interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)
  • Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations

• Setting: OB/GYN Clinic + Hospital (Level I Trauma Center)
• Hospital: 413 beds
• Patient Volume: 20/day in clinic
• EMR: Not specified

• Low Risk Pregnancy: 70%
• High Risk Pregnancy: 10%
• C-Section Rate: 30%
• Office GYN: 10%
• Surgical GYN: 10%

• Team:
  • 5 OB/GYNs
  • 2 Mid-levels
• Support Staff:
  • 2 RNs, 1 LPN
  • 6 MAs, 3 PAs
  • 1 Surgery Scheduler
• Onsite:
  • Lab and ultrasound (performed by techs)
  • 11 exam rooms

• Clinic + hospital-based OB/GYN care
• Deliveries and labor management
• Rounding, consults, and patient management
• No supervision required

• OB ultrasound (Level I & II interpretation)
• Office gynecology procedures (IUD, colposcopy, LEEP, etc.)
