You'll deliver hands-on, on-site therapy—virtual options are not available—ensuring students receive the support they need for a great start to the school year.Key Qualifications:Active Occupational Therapist license with the Florida Department of Health Prior experience in a school-based setting strongly preferredMust complete or have valid fingerprints through the AHCA Clearinghouse; eligibility for a JLA badge is requiredAdaptability and organization to manage multiple school assignmentsExcellent communication skills for working with students, educators, and familiesPrimary Responsibilities:Deliver occupational therapy services to students, adjusting interventions based on individual needsCollaborate with teachers and school staff to support IEP goalsTravel between assigned campuses as needed in an itinerant roleMaintain detailed documentation and adhere to confidentiality standardsParticipate in meetings, evaluations, and collaborative planningStarting August 10, 2026, you’ll provide coverage for the first 12 weeks of the academic year, supporting a dynamic student caseload (details to be confirmed).
